   Engineering firm SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. (Montreal, Quebec) has strengthened its geotechnical and geo-environmental capabilities through the acquisition of Harder Associates Engineering Consulting Inc. (Fort St. John, British Columbia), a 16-person firm serving the construction, upstream oil and gas, and environmental and geotechnical markets in western Canada. The addition of Harder Associates “builds on our recent acquisition of MDH Engineered Solutions, allowing us to further expand our geo-environmental services, and to achieve our strategic objectives,” said Jacques Benoit, senior vice president and general manager of SNC-Lavalin Environment.
