WSP Environmental (Reston, VA) and A-Zone Environmental Services LLC (Charles Town, WV) jointly announced that the two companies have formed a joint venture under the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Mentor-Protégé Program. The joint venture, called A-Zone WSP Environmental, will provide site investigation, geotechnical, ground engineering, land remediation, climate change, and sustainability services to federal agencies and private companies. “WSP has enjoyed a collaborative business relationship with A-Zone for several years,” said David Meyer, WSP’s senior vice president of business development. “We are delighted to now formalize this through a joint venture, which will enhance still further the breadth and quality of the services that we offer in support of public and private projects, in addition to enabling WSP to mentor and support the development of A-Zone’s business and staff as part of this excellent program.”
