   Safety and compliance services provider Total Safety (Houston, TX) announced that it has acquired Z-Safety Services (Dilsen-Stokkem, Belgium), a provider of turnaround safety, gas detection, respiratory protection, materials management, and on-site support services to customers in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. Total Safety said that the acquisition dramatically expands its footprint in the European market and its ability to service its global clients. The Z-Safety leadership “has a commitment to safety and excellence that mirrors our own, and their family of over 500 qualified personnel is a great complement to our international family,” said Total Safety CEO David Fanta. “We are looking forward to extending our additional capabilities in industrial hygiene, communications, and medical services to their current customers, many of which we serve elsewhere.” Total Safety, a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus (New York, NY), operates from 133 offices in 18 countries.
